We need a Media Communication Specialist to turn complex topics into engaging stories!

Are you a skilled communicator with a passion for global issues? Can you translate technical content into captivating media materials? If so, we want you on our team!

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

  • A university degree in communication, journalism, political science/social sciences & international relations, or public health
  • The ability to craft compelling media materials (written, visual, and audio) in both Arabic and English
  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies, media products, and outreach plans
  • Strong conceptual thinking and consensus-building skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A deep understanding of NGO missions and goals (public health knowledge a plus)

Language skills:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
  • Knowledge of another UN language (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) is a plus

What you’ll do:

  • Transform technical content into high-quality media communication materials
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media representatives across the region
  • Conduct regular media monitoring to identify trends and advise on media opportunities
  • Organize and lead media communication training workshops
