Education & Qualifications Requirements:

Education:

  • Have Bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant professional experience; or
  • Secondary education with five years of relevant professional experience.

Work Experiences:

  • Teaching, training and curriculum development.
  • Experience within USRAP Cultural Orientation (CO) or programmes for other resettlement countries is desirable.
  • Experience in leading interactive training seminars or orientation sessions for youth and adults.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English and Albanian (oral and written) is required.
  • Working knowledge of Dari and/or Pashto would be an advantage.

You will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and informative cultural orientation experience for participants. Here’s a breakdown of your key duties:

  • Deliver and Manage Cultural Orientation Activities: You’ll lead training sessions, manage scheduling, and oversee teams responsible for organizing cultural orientation programs in your assigned area.
  • Maintain START System: You’ll ensure the cultural orientation information in START is up-to-date and accurate. You’ll also assist supervisors in monitoring cultural orientation processes across different units.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: You’ll regularly review cultural orientation data in START to verify its accuracy and compliance with USRAP and RSC standards. You’ll proactively identify and report any backlogs or issues to your supervisor.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You’ll liaise with other teams within RSC and other RSCs as needed. You’ll also provide regular reports on your team’s progress.
  • Training and Development: You’ll train other team members on cultural orientation best practices, START system usage, and monitoring procedures.
  • Travel: You may be required to travel for cultural orientation activities, meetings, and training.
  • Professionalism and Expertise: You’ll demonstrate a strong understanding of USRAP guidelines, SOPs, and the START system. You’ll maintain a professional, impartial, and unbiased demeanor in all interactions.
  • Confidentiality and Data Security: You’ll uphold data privacy by following USRAP standards and report any non-compliance concerns to management.
  • Develop and Deliver Training Programs: This may involve designing training materials, lesson plans, and visual aids for cultural orientation programs focused on various resettlement destinations.
  • Continual Learning: You’ll actively participate in teacher training, staff development programs, and self-directed learning activities to stay updated on resettlement procedures, languages, and cultural orientation best practices.
  • Additional Responsibilities: You may be assigned other relevant duties as needed.
