Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of sustainability principles and best practices
• Strategic thinker with an ability to deliver on tactical initiatives.
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for soccer and a desire to work in the sports industry (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Research emerging sustainability trends and innovations relevant to the sports industry
• Assist with developing and implementing FC Dallas’s sustainability strategy and initiatives
• Analyze data and track progress toward environmental goals
• Prepare reports and presentations on sustainability efforts for internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and recommend sustainable solutions for various aspects of FC Dallas’s operations (e.g., energy use, waste management)
• May assist with coordinating educational outreach programs to promote environmental awareness among fans and the community
