International mobility and communications at rural french high school
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Are you looking for a new experience to learn 
more about education and international mobility? La Rouatière School is looking for 2 volunteers from September 2024 to June 2025. During these 10 months, volunteers will be able to develop small personal projects related to communication, non-formal education, promotion of international mobility and interculturality, social and language exchange, web radio, etc. This will give them an experience of learning and developing autonomy and of gaining more self-confidence. Each year, the activities carried out are always a little different; it all depends on what type of activities the volunteers develop as personal projects. During some weekends and school holidays, volunteers will be hosted by IDC at an eco-camping, where they will have the chance to receive training and support for their projects.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
Some skills to acquire are: educational skills: new professional practices, new approaches in terms of formal and non-formal education in the social or agricultural sector (production methods, green tourism, etc.) to then integrate them into their professional career. Develop their written and oral communication skills, using all the resources at their disposal (including digital), before, during, and after mobility and the setting up of educational activities. French language: oral expression and writing
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
We are looking for volunteers who are eager to live a new intercultural experience! With interest in and experience in communication and international mobility. Adaptable, sociable, responsible, charismatic, flexible, organized, communicative, creative, autonomy, initiative, teamwork. We will respect gender diversity, and we will always try not to accommodate a girl with a boy. Basic knowledge of French is recommended to better connect with the students.
