Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in engineering, geology, Construction Management or Operations Management, business administration, or a related field.
- Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong interest in the construction materials industry.
- A willingness to learn and eagerness to take on new challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Assist with operational tasks alongside experienced personnel.
- Gain experience in production planning, quality control, and safety procedures.
- Learn about relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Contribute to data collection and analysis related to aggregate production.
- Learn the administrative requirements of the business through hands-on experience.
- Learn the importance of taking detailed messages and timely communication.
- Assist with project development and special initiatives as assigned.
