Description:
WebstaurantStore, a division of Clark Associates, is currently seeking content writer interns with strong research and writing skills. The interns will be responsible for creating compelling product descriptions and updating website content. This role is vital for business expansion and meeting the needs of foodservice professionals worldwide.
As interns, they will have the opportunity to collaborate with staff members from various Clark Associates companies, gaining a holistic understanding of the company. They will work closely with experienced professionals in the Content and Digital Content teams, enabling continuous learning and personal development. This paid internship program also serves as an opportunity for WebstaurantStore to evaluate interns for full-time positions.
The internship typically runs from mid-May to mid-August on a full-time basis, and remote work options are available.

Online Work Qualification:
- Possess a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection with a minimum speed of 75mbps download and 10mbps upload. Cable or fiber connections are preferred over satellite connections.
- Have access to a home router and modem.
- Maintain a dedicated home office space that is free from noise and distractions, with a strong wireless connection or preferably a wired Ethernet connection.
- Provide a valid physical address (apartment, suite, etc.) for receiving computer equipment, as PO Boxes are not accepted.
- Demonstrate the willingness and ability to work and communicate with team members using various platforms such as chat and webcam.

- Create and/or revise product descriptions and supporting text throughout our online store.
- Implement filters to improve the shopping experience for our customers.
- Input product data into our database.
- Maintain regular communication with external vendors and internal teams to ensure project completion.
- Manage a comprehensive task list for content projects on a weekly basis.
- Participate in team meetings and receive training on our products.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Photo, Video, Design, and SEO departments to meet project deadlines.
- Gain exposure to various departments by shadowing current employees (such as Procurement, Photo/Production, and others!).
- Engage in frequent meetings with management to discuss projects and receive constructive feedback on your work.
