Are you a college student interested in learning about global markets and finance?
Citizens Bank is offering a 10-week paid internship program in Boston, Massachusetts for students enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor’s program, graduating between Winter 2024 and Spring 2025. This program is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the commercial banking industry and develop your skills in finance, economics, and business analysis.
What you’ll do:
- Work alongside experienced professionals in the Global Markets team, including traders, salespeople, and analysts.
- Assist the Sales team with tasks like desk coverage and creating presentations for clients.
- Learn about the impact of global economic events on financial markets.
- Help Citizens Global Markets clients manage risk by identifying potential financial exposures and developing risk management strategies.
- Gain experience using financial analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities for the Global Markets team.

Who you are:
- A current student enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor’s program, graduating between Winter 2024 and Spring 2025.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.2 (3.5 preferred).
- Possess strong analytical and software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Eager to learn and interested in a career in finance.
- A U.S. Resident with permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (Citizens Bank does not sponsor work visas for interns or full-time analysts).
