Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program and in good academic standing.
• Must have successfully completed fundamentals of nursing coursework.
• Possession of a valid student nurse license (or ability to obtain one before starting).
• Strong commitment to patient care and a desire to work in a critical care setting is a plus.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs with various aspects of patient care in the CICU, potentially including:
  • Monitoring vital signs and documenting patient status.
  • Performing basic nursing tasks under close supervision (e.g., assisting with ambulation, hygiene care).
  • Observing advanced critical care procedures and learning about critical care interventions.
