Part-time (50%) paid Internship with UNICEF Migrant and Refugee Programme Italy

Summary

Qualifications

  • Be enrolled in a degree programme in an undergraduate or graduate school, or be a recent graduate in the area of political sciences, social sciences, anthropology, international relations, social communication or related fields, with a specific focus on gender studies.
  • Passionate about migrant and refugee rights and issues.
  • Strong commitment to UNICEF’s mission of protecting children’s rights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Italian (fluency in additional languages is a plus).
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to ongoing projects.
  • Proactive, resourceful, action-orientated, driven to achieve results.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with research and data collection related to migrant and refugee children.
  • Support the development and implementation of advocacy and awareness-raising campaigns.
  • Contribute to the translation and dissemination of UNICEF materials (if applicable).
  • Participate in organizing workshops and events focused on migrant and refugee children’s needs.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as assigned by the internship supervisor.
