Internship - Roma and Egyptian Inclusion (UNICEF Montenegro)
Summary
Are you passionate about advocating for the rights of Roma and Egyptian communities in Montenegro? UNICEF Montenegro offers a unique 3-month internship opportunity to contribute to our Roma and Egyptian inclusion programs. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team, supporting initiatives that empower these communities and promote their equal participation in society. This internship is specifically open to candidates who identify as Roma or Egyptian and are living in Montenegro.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or have graduated within the past two years.
- Have strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records or, if not available, a reference letter from an academic supervisor.
- Identify as Roma or Egyptian and currently reside in Montenegro.
- Strong commitment to improving the lives of Roma and Egyptian communities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Montenegrin.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to ongoing projects.
- Good knowledge of Montenegrin with basic knowledge of English.
Responsibilities
- Assist with research and data collection related to Roma and Egyptian inclusion initiatives.
- Participate in the development and implementation of advocacy and awareness-raising campaigns.
- Contribute to the translation and dissemination of UNICEF materials in Romani or Egyptian languages (if applicable).
- Support the organization of workshops and events focused on Roma and Egyptian youth empowerment.
- Participate in other duties as assigned by the internship supervisor.

Location
