  • Age limit: Preferably below 36 years old.
  • Stipend: Rs 36,000 – 40,000 per month (with annual increments).

• Chandrasekhar Post-Doctoral Fellowships:
  • Designed for exceptionally bright candidates with outstanding academic records.
  • Open to researchers in all areas of astronomy and astrophysics.

  • Age limit: Preferably below 32 years old.
  • Stipend: Rs 50,000 – 60,000 per month (depending on experience).

IIA Research:

• Fellows will collaborate with institute research groups and pursue independent research.
• IIA operates major observatories across India, and is involved in cutting-edge astronomical projects like ASTROSAT and TMT.
