Medical Campaign Volunteer

Summary:

Volunteer for a medical campaign in Cusco, Peru, and make a difference in improving healthcare access for underserved communities. This week-long program allows groups of eight or more volunteers to provide roving healthcare services in remote or disadvantaged areas around Cusco. By participating, you will have the opportunity to offer health check-ups, educate communities about nutrition and personal hygiene, and provide dental care to those in need. Fees:

An affordable set fee of $585 for one week, which includes accommodation, breakfast and dinner, airport pick-up, orientation, and 24/7 support.

Requirements:

• Must be pre-medical, medical, pre-nursing, or nursing students or qualified professionals.
• Must be part of a group of eight or more eligible volunteers.
• Must be 18 years or older (alternative volunteer opportunities available for teens).

Responsibilities:

• Participate in roving campaigns, providing healthcare services in local communities.
• Assist local professionals in health check-ups.
• Educate communities about nutrition, personal hygiene, and dental care.
• Distribute toothbrushes and toothpaste in areas without clean drinking water.
