In addition, Radboud University has announced a reduction in the number of students they will accept in the 2024-2025 academic year. Only accepted applicants will need to pay 2,530 Euros instead of the usual 17,000 Euros. The scholarship also covers the costs of a visa, residence permit, health insurance, and liability insurance for the duration of your stay in the Netherlands. However, the scholarship does not cover living and study costs.

Terms & Conditions

  • The candidates must hold a passport from outside the European Union.
  • The applicants are not eligible for the lower EU/EEA tuition fees for other reasons.
  • English language professionality.
  • The applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from outside the Netherlands.
  • The applicants must not have previously obtained any academic degree in the Netherlands.
  • Complete the official letter for the Al Majesty Program.
  • The candidates can comply and abide by the conditions presented for obtaining an entry visa to the Netherlands.
  • Able to comply with the conditions for obtaining an entry visa to the Netherlands.

Selection Criteria

Selection will depend on the following procedures:

  • Your outstanding academic results, activities, participation, and academic excellence in your previous field of study.
  • Ranking of the university in which you obtained your degrees.
  • The quality and relevance of your motivation letter for the master’s program.
  • Life experience and/or extracurricular activities such as internships or volunteer work.
  • Verify the academics who reviewed the explanations and their quality.

Additional information

  • In case you are selected as a scholarship recipient and you are admitted to a two-year master’s programme: to qualify for the grant again for the second year, you need to have passed all courses in the first year.
  • The Radboud Scholarship cannot be combined with the Radboud Encouragement Scholarship or Fulbright-Radboud Scholarship. If eligible, you may apply for more than one scholarship, but only one scholarship will be granted. However, please note that you cannot apply for both the Radboud Scholarship Programme and Radboud Encouragement Scholarship, you can only apply for one of these two.
