Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in accounting and have completed a tax or accounting class.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Integrity, client service orientation, and a positive attitude are essential.
- The capacity to fulfill deadlines, operate autonomously, and efficiently handle several projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various accounting tasks, such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Gain exposure to tax preparation procedures, including data entry and basic form preparation (may vary by location).
- Prepare financial reports and assist with client audits under the supervision of experienced professionals.
- Interact with clients to gather information and complete tasks efficiently.
- Develop and maintain accurate accounting records, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
